"Find classes that derive from css::uno::XAggregation, but which implement queryInterface in violation of the protocol laid out in the documentation at udkapi/com/sun/star/uno/XAggregation.idl (which implies that such a class either doesn't actually make use of the deprecated XAggregation mechanism, which should thus be removed from that class hierarchy, or that its implementation of queryInterface needs to be fixed)." (compilerplugins/clang/unoaggregation.cxx) The basesHaveOnlyPureQueryInterface check in compilerplugins/clang/unoaggregation.cxx is "a crude approximation (but which appears to work OK)" to filter out any queryInterface base implementations of class hierarchies supporting XAggregation (i.e., cppu::OWeakAggObject::queryInterface). It only fails for the odd ChartDocumentWrapper::queryInterface, which manually implements the XAggregation functionality rather than (indirectly) deriving from OWeakAggObject. But changing that manual implementation looks tricky, so leave that alone for now and add a loplugin warning suppression there, and leave proper clean up for later. Changes the postion calculation for pie charts, where the margin min distance is now constant for pie charts, but unchanged for other chart types. This changes the positions of various pie charts used in tests, which have been changed to the new value after the cases have been checked. Added a new test with all 3 use cases (chart area width equals height, width is greater than height, width is less than height). On macOS, where we implicitly use -fvisibility-inlines-hidden-static-local-var since <https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/commit/d46f2c51e4c849683434bb5a0fb6164957474b8f> "Make -fvisibility-inlines-hidden apply to static local variables in inline functions on Darwin", the static id local var in weld::TransportAsXWindow::getUnoTunnelId cannot be in an inline function implicitly hidden via -fvisibility-inlines-hidden. Explicitly marking the function as VCL_DLLPUBLIC would help, but would in turn cause MSVC error 2487 ("member of a dll interface class may not be declared with dll interface"). So just make the function non-inline in a new vcl/source/window/weldutils.cxx (which would arguably be the best approach for the whole class, anyway). 2022-12-14[API CHANGE] Merge sfx2::XmlDump into css::qa::XDumperStephan Bergmann
Both sfx2::XmlDump and css::qa::XDumper were (only) used to dump various data from ChartModel and ChartView instances in debugging (e.g., F12 and Shift-F12 in an SW_DEBUG=1 Writer) and testing scenarios. The problem with XmlDump was that it was used as the target of a dynamic_cast from a UNO type, which is dangerous (see the upcoming commit introducing loplugin:unocast for details). One fix would have been to replace that dynamic_cast with a use of XUnoTunnel, and make ChartModel and ChartView implement that. But those classes already implement XDumper, so it looks more natural to use XDumper for that purpose too. However, the information that was obtained via XDumper was rather different from the information that was obtained via XmlDump. So make an incompatible change to the (unpublished) XDumper, adding a kind parameter distinguishing the original behavior of XDumper (kind == "shapes") from the original behavior of XmlDump (kind == ""). ...inspired by 2fa426da15a12e2a63554247e3c1c3f8c0ec5c24 "Fix dynamic_cast after splitting OutputDevice and vcl::Window class hierarchies": "Find uses of dynamic_cast that cast between unrelated classes, which is suspicious and might indicate a bug. The heuristic used to consider two classes unrelated is that neither derives from the other (directly or indirectly) and they do not both virtually derive (directly or indirectly) from a common third class. Additionally, class definitions can be attributed with SAL_LOPLUGIN_ANNOTATE("crosscast") (from sal/types.h) to suppress false warnings about known-good cases casting from or to such a class." (quoting compilerplugins/clang/crosscast.cxx) This found two additional errors, 7a82ea5c79adee70eddf74ac53347544766a91b0 "Fix presumed typo" and fc6aa9e49973c845915754caf765ff57e5b0cd59 "fix assert", and one still-open case that looks like an error, see the TODO comment in sw/source/core/unocore/unodraw.cxx. In addition to that it flagged another 102 uses of dynamic_cast as suspicious, which have all been addressed, at least for now, by marking certain classes as SAL_LOPLUGIN_ANNOTATE("crosscast"), see below. (Where this commit also adds that generic SAL_LOPLUGIN_ANNOTATE mechanism to include/sal/types.h.) Fix also bad English title case: "One Euro *and* *Twenty-Two* cents" (not *And* and *Twenty-two*) Details: – svl: list NatNum12 NumberText currency codes in Currency formats (i.e. after choosing Currency category). – svx: Recognize bank symbol "CURRENCY" in NatNum12 parameters defined in locale resource files. For example, "[NatNum12 CURRENCY]" is converted to "[NatNum12 USD]" in the number format dialog windows, using bank symbol of the current locale settings. Recognize compatible (old) bank symbol "CCC" in NatNum12 parameters defined in locale resource files. For example, "[NatNum12 CCC]" is converted to "[NatNum12 DEM]" in the number format dialog windows, using bank symbol of the compatible currency of the German locale settings. User-defined formats with arbitrary bank codes are recognized as currency formats, e.g. modifying "[NatNum12 USD]" to "[NatNum12 EUR]" in the dialog window results a new currency format item. – i18npool/*en_US.xml: define four Standard NatNum12 formats (lower case, sentence case, title case, upper case) and four Currency NatNum12 formats (title case, title case with digits, upper case, upper case with digits). – cui: use lower sample numbers for spell out formats: – 100 for Standard: One Hundred one hundred One hundred ONE HUNDRED – 1.2 for Currency: One U.S. Dollar ONE U.S. DOLLAR One U.S. Dollar and Twenty Cents ONE U.S. DOLLAR AND TWENTY CENTS – i18npool: fix English title casing of NatNum12 conversions: – Don't apply casing on "and", according to the title case rules, for example: "One Euro and One Cent" instead of "One Euro And One Cent". – Apply casing on the second element of the hyphenated compound words: "Twenty-One" instead of the bad "Twenty-one". – add unit test for extended Number and Currency categories.
