a8485d558fab53291e2530fd9a1be581c1628deb "[API CHANGE] Remove deprecated idlc
and regmerge from the SDK", and have always been ignored as legacy by its
unoidl-write replacement.
This change has been carried out (making use of GNU sed extensions) with
> for i in $(git ls-files \*.idl); do sed -i -z -E -e 's/\n\n((#[^\n]*\n)+\n)*(#[^\n]*\n)+\n?/\n\n/g' -e 's/\n(#[^\n]*\n)+/\n/g' "$i"; done && git checkout extensions/source/activex/so_activex.idl odk/examples/OLE/activex/so_activex.idl
which apparently happened to do the work. (The final two files are not UNOIDL
source files.)

But for simplicity (and to avoid issues with non-printing characters), keep
printing an integer here.

...warning about (for now only) functions and variables with external linkage
that likely don't need it.
The problems with moving entities into unnamed namespacs and breaking ADL
(as alluded to in comments in compilerplugins/clang/external.cxx) are
illustrated by the fact that while
struct S1 { int f() { return 0; } };
int f(S1 s) { return s.f(); }
namespace N {
struct S2: S1 { int f() { return 1; } };
int f(S2 s) { return s.f(); }
}
int main() { return f(N::S2()); }
returns 1, both moving just the struct S2 into an nunnamed namespace,
struct S1 { int f() { return 0; } };
int f(S1 s) { return s.f(); }
namespace N {
namespace { struct S2: S1 { int f() { return 1; } }; }
int f(S2 s) { return s.f(); }
}
int main() { return f(N::S2()); }
as well as moving just the function f overload into an unnamed namespace,
struct S1 { int f() { return 0; } };
int f(S1 s) { return s.f(); }
namespace N {
struct S2: S1 { int f() { return 1; } };
namespace { int f(S2 s) { return s.f(); } }
}
int main() { return f(N::S2()); }
would each change the program to return 0 instead.

this modifies codemaker so that, for an UNO enum, we generate code
that effectively looks like:
#ifdef LIBO_INTERNAL_ONLY && HAVE_CX11_CONSTEXPR
enum class XXX {
ONE = 1
};
constexpr auto ONE = XXX_ONE;
#else
...the old normal way..
#endif
which means that for LO internal code, the enums are scoped.
The "constexpr auto" trick acts like an alias so we don't have to
use scoped naming everywhere.

This may reduce some degree of dependency on boost.
Done by running a script like:
git grep -l '#include *.boost/scoped_array.hpp.' \
| xargs sed -i -e 's@#include *.boost/scoped_array.hpp.@#include <memory>@'
git grep -l '\(boost::\)\?scoped_array<\([^<>]*\)>' \
| xargs sed -i -e 's/\(boost::\)\?scoped_array<\([^<>]*\)>/std::unique_ptr<\2[]>/'
... and then killing duplicate or unnecessary includes,
while changing manually

Just to be safe, since that include as been added to the api during the

the header remain and simply attempt to include ustring.hxx
but a warning is issued indicating that this header should not be used

Evidently on Windows, the newfangled ucpp handles #include "foo"
differently from #include <foo> and treats it as a relative path, while
the angle brackets always result in absolute paths.
Since relative paths result in infinite rebuilds if make is invoked in a
different directory, don't use #include "foo" in IDL files.

SAL_UNUSED_PARAMETER (expanding to __attribute__ ((unused)) for GCC)
is used to annotate legitimately unused parameters, so that static
analysis tools can tell legitimately unused parameters from truly
unnecessary ones. To that end, some patches for external modules
are also added, that are only applied when compiling with GCC and
add necessary __attribute__ ((unused)) in headers.
