Issue the "instead of O[U]String, pass [u16]string_view" diagnostic also for
operator call arguments. (The "rather than copy, pass subView()" diagnostic is
already part of handleSubExprThatCouldBeView, so no need to repeat it explicitly
for operator call arguments.)
(And many call sites don't even require an explicit [u16]string_view, esp. with
the recent ad48b2b02f83eed41fb1eb8d16de7e804156fcf1 "Optimized OString operator
+= overloads". Just some test code in sal/qa/ that explicitly tests the
O[U]String functionality had to be excluded.)

a528392e71bc70136021be4e3d83732fccbb885e "Fixed/improved
loplugin:cppunitassertequals" (and which then triggers lots of other
lopglugin:cppunitassertequal CPPUNIT_ASSERT -> CPPUNIT_ASSERT_EQUAL warnings).
For two css::uno::Reference equality comparisons in cppu/qa/test_any.cxx, it
was more straightforward to rewrite them with an explicit call to operator ==
(which silences loplugin:cppunitassertequal) than to adapt them to
CPPUNIT_ASSERT_EQUAL's requirement for arguments of identical types.
In sc/qa/unit/ucalc_pivottable.cxx, ScDPItemData needs toString, which has been
implemented trivially for now, but might want to combine that with the
DEBUG_PIVOT_TABLE-only ScDPItemData::Dump.

Instead of using the current view to set
the DocId, we instead make sure that the ShellView
object has the DocId set at construction time.
This turned out to be necessary in at least one
case (which has a unit-test that failed), which
is when events fired during the creation of a
new view. The cursor position is notified
before we have a chance to set the DocId and
because of that we miss the notifications (or
worse, we end up sending them to all other
documents' views in an effort to fix this bug).
This approach is clean and always guarantees that
all views have the correct DocId set as soon as
possible and that all notifications are sent
as expected.
A unit-test is added to exercise mult-document
usage, which exposed a number of bugs and issues
that have been addressed in this patch.

This is a prerequisite for making conversion from OUStringLiteral to OUString
more efficient at least for C++20 (by replacing its internals with a constexpr-
generated sal_uString-compatible layout with a SAL_STRING_STATIC_FLAG refCount,
conditionally for C++20 for now).
For a configure-wise bare-bones build on Linux, size reported by `du -bs
instdir` grew by 118792 bytes from 1155636636 to 1155755428.
In most places just a u"..." string literal prefix had to be added. In some
places
char const a[] = "...";
variables have been changed to char16_t, and a few places required even further
changes to code (which prompted the addition of include/o3tl/string_view.hxx
helper function o3tl::equalsIgnoreAsciiCase and the additional
OUString::createFromAscii overload).
For all uses of macros expanding to string literals, the relevant uses have been
rewritten as
u"" MACRO
instead of changing the macro definitions. It should be possible to change at
least some of those macro definitions (and drop the u"" from their call sites)
in follow-up commits.

...as discussed as an open TODO in the commit message of
fe6cce01c88d045a1fcf09acf049c34c22299b02 "Fix loplugin:simplifypointertobool for
libstdc++ std::shared_ptr". The necessary changes across the code base have
been done fully automatically with the rewriting plugin on Linux. (All those
changes apparently involve uses of macro arguments wrapped in parentheses in the
macro body, but always in conditionally-converted-to-bool contexts. In other
contexts, such automatic rewriting would add the "bool" to the macro body, which
would be wrong in general, but we apparently get away with that sloppy coding
for now.)
The parenExprs_ stack that fe6cce01c88d045a1fcf09acf049c34c22299b02 had
introduced to treat such (then-undetected, it had turned out) parenthesized
cases now turns out to not be needed after all.

In LOK we use one language identifier for both - UI language and
the locale used. This is a problem when we determine that we a
language for UI is not available and fall-back to the default
"en-US" langauge, which also changes the locale. This introduces
a separate variable that stores the language tag for the locale
independently to the language.
Another problem is that in some cases we don't reset the staticly
initialized data, when the new document is loaded, which is on
the other hand used to define which currency symbol is used as
SYSTEM locale. That can in some cases select the wrong currency
symbol even when we changed the locale to something else. This fix
introduces a reset function, which is triggered on every document
load.

Unfortunately, this isn't fully functional, but
didn't want to lose the effort. The problem is
that there is no proper config for languages
in the unit-tests. So even when we set the
language explicitly, it still doesn't apply
to the SpellCheckerDispatcher, which is
where it matters. This seems to be because
the config is not properly propagated and

By default dialogs/decks are re-created when a new view is
created/attached, if they are visible. For the spell checker
this is unexpected, as the user doesn't expect to be doing
spell checking upon loading a document, just because another
user was at the time spell checking. Currently the suppression
is for LOK only.
This also adds support to suppress the recreation of any
dialog by flagging it with the SfxChildWindowFlags::NEVERCLONE
flag upon invoking RegisterChildWindow.

Users typically don't recognize that changes
done to a cell need to be committed (typically
by hitting RETURN) before they are saved to file.
This is especially true on the web.
This patch commits any in-flight changes before
SaveAs. This is currently done only for LOK and
unconditionally at that. This can be controlled
via a flag, if there is such a use-case.

...with a boost::optional fallback for Xcode < 10 (as std::optional is only
available starting with Xcode 10 according to
<https://en.cppreference.com/w/cpp/compiler_support>, and our baseline for iOS
and macOS is still Xcode 9.3 according to README.md). And mechanically rewrite
all code to use o3tl::optional instead of boost::optional.
One immediate benefit is that disabling -Wmaybe-uninitialized for GCC as per
fed7c3deb3f4ec81f78967c2d7f3c4554398cb9d "Slience bogus
-Werror=maybe-uninitialized" should no longer be necessary (and whose check
happened to no longer trigger for GCC 10 trunk, even though that compiler would
still emit bogus -Wmaybe-uninitialized for uses of boost::optional under
--enable-optimized, which made me ponder whether this switch from
boost::optional to std::optional would be a useful thing to do; I keep that
configure.ac check for now, though, and will only remove it in a follow up
commit).
Another longer-term benefit is that the code is now already in good shape for an
eventual switch to std::optional (a switch we would have done anyway once we no
longer need to support Xcode < 10).
Only desktop/qa/desktop_lib/test_desktop_lib.cxx heavily uses
boost::property_tree::ptree::get_child_optional returning boost::optional, so
let it keep using boost::optional for now.
After a number of preceding commits have paved the way for this change, this
commit is completely mechanical, done with
> git ls-files -z | grep -vz -e '^bin/find-unneeded-includes$' -e '^configure.ac$' -e '^desktop/qa/desktop_lib/test_desktop_lib.cxx$' -e '^dictionaries$' -e '^external/' -e '^helpcontent2$' -e '^include/IwyuFilter_include.yaml$' -e '^sc/IwyuFilter_sc.yaml$' -e '^solenv/gdb/boost/optional.py$' -e '^solenv/vs/LibreOffice.natvis$' -e '^translations$' -e '\.svg$' | xargs -0 sed -i -E -e 's|\<boost(/optional)?/optional\.hpp\>|o3tl/optional.hxx|g' -e 's/\<boost(\s*)::(\s*)(make_)?optional\>/o3tl\1::\2\3optional/g' -e 's/\<boost(\s*)::(\s*)none\>/o3tl\1::\2nullopt/g'
(before committing include/o3tl/optional.hxx, and relying on some GNU features).
It excludes some files where mention of boost::optional et al should apparently
not be changed (and the sub-repo directory stubs). It turned out that all uses
of boost::none across the code base were in combination with boost::optional, so
had all to be rewritten as o3tl::nullopt.

...following up on 314f15bff08b76bf96acf99141776ef64d2f1355 "Extend
loplugin:external to warn about enums".
Cases where free functions were moved into an unnamed namespace along with a
class, to not break ADL, are in:
filter/source/svg/svgexport.cxx
sc/source/filter/excel/xelink.cxx
sc/source/filter/excel/xilink.cxx
svx/source/sdr/contact/viewobjectcontactofunocontrol.cxx
All other free functions mentioning moved classes appear to be harmless and not
give rise to (silent, even) ADL breakage. (One remaining TODO in
compilerplugins/clang/external.cxx is that derived classes are not covered by
computeAffectedTypes, even though they could also be affected by ADL-breakage---
but don't seem to be in any acutal case across the code base.)
For friend declarations using elaborate type specifiers, like
class C1 {};
class C2 { friend class C1; };
* If C2 (but not C1) is moved into an unnamed namespace, the friend declaration
must be changed to not use an elaborate type specifier (i.e., "friend C1;"; see
C++17 [namespace.memdef]/3: "If the name in a friend declaration is neither
qualified nor a template-id and the declaration is a function or an
elaborated-type-specifier, the lookup to determine whether the entity has been
previously declared shall not consider any scopes outside the innermost
enclosing namespace.")
* If C1 (but not C2) is moved into an unnamed namespace, the friend declaration
must be changed too, see <https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=71882>
"elaborated-type-specifier friend not looked up in unnamed namespace".
Apart from that, to keep changes simple and mostly mechanical (which should help
avoid regressions), out-of-line definitions of class members have been left in
the enclosing (named) namespace. But explicit specializations of class
templates had to be moved into the unnamed namespace to appease
<https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=92598> "explicit specialization of
template from unnamed namespace using unqualified-id in enclosing namespace".
Also, accompanying declarations (of e.g. typedefs or static variables) that
could arguably be moved into the unnamed namespace too have been left alone.
And in some cases, mention of affected types in blacklists in other loplugins
needed to be adapted.
And sc/qa/unit/mark_test.cxx uses a hack of including other .cxx, one of which
is sc/source/core/data/segmenttree.cxx where e.g. ScFlatUInt16SegmentsImpl is
not moved into an unnamed namespace (because it is declared in
sc/inc/segmenttree.hxx), but its base ScFlatSegmentsImpl is. GCC warns about
such combinations with enabled-by-default -Wsubobject-linkage, but "The compiler
doesn’t give this warning for types defined in the main .C file, as those are
unlikely to have multiple definitions."
(<https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-9.2.0/gcc/Warning-Options.html>) The
warned-about classes also don't have multiple definitions in the given test, so
disable the warning when including the .cxx.

This simplifies lots of logic in the clients, making it trivial to get
good row/column header alignment at any zoom. Ultimately TWIPS here are
highly misleading print-twips, and in this state are ~impossible to map
to pixels accurately unless all data is present back to the origin
(which is not the current approach).
