This introduces internal tracking of last used directories. Each caller of the file picker can pass a "context". The selected directory will then be saved & restored when opening the file picker with the same context again. After ffa636ba74b04b3258ec9a696bc4eac33581fa24 , the Windows file picker no longer tracks the last used directory itself. This is a replacement and an improvement at the same time, since there is not one global last used directory, but one per context. This patch includes: * A README.help.md as a general documentation for the different help types, the LO code and help-related build options. * Adds --disable-xmlhelp for removing the xmlhelp support from the build. Disable for iOS, Android and Emscripten. This was partly included in HAVE_FEATURE_DESKTOP before. * Rename WITH_HELP define to WITH_HELPPACKS, which reflects the actual usage AFAIK. * Depend --with-omindex on --with-help=online and don't override the --with-help setting. Error out on conflicting options. * Depend --with-helppack-integration on build help variants, which actually result in help packs. Kind of reverts commit 2c38ea6d16b910294220cefaf8ae6a0683e6405a ("Building without --with-help is not supposed to disable help functionality"). This commit includes the implementation of graphics rendering tests which would be automatically triggered at first installation or upgrades of LibreOffice. These tests check the graphic rendering interface of LibreOffice by drawing and checking various graphical rendering tools (eg:. by drawing lines, polygons etc.). After the successful completion of tests, their results are stored in the user folder for future reference. 2021-06-01configure: Refactor platform defaultsJan-Marek Glogowski
The main idea was to move complexity from source (and Makefiles) into configure.ac, because otherwise these must replicate the "same" branching, often resulting in diversions. Better to keep the logic in one place (configure.ac) and set additional variables to be used directly by source code and Makefiles. Notably this introduce the "using_*" platform flags, which should be considered constants. There is USING_X11, which actually tells, if the build uses the platform's X11 (and I opted for the removal of HAVE_FEATURE_X11). I also consider variables constant, after they have been exported by AC_SUBST, which should never be conditional, or some AC_DEFINE set them for a config header. A large block of defaults depends on $using_x11, so we set them to the same value, but just if the platform doesn't set it. The other important flag is $using_freetype_fontconfig, if the platform uses freetype and fontconfig. The headless plugin uses cairo for its drawing operations and freetype+fontconfig for text, so $test_cairo = $using_freetype_fontconfig. This is independent from a the cairo canvas! The OpenGL X11 code now depends on USING_X11, but it doesn't yet reflect the filter in Library_vcl.mk protecting glx. I don't know how correct this glx filter is, seeing that the source code just checked for "UNX - some non-X11 targets". After commit e0094d6fe58eaa9a79b546149cf67db521cd1230 Date: Mon Apr 26 10:43:11 2021 +0900 lok: add rendering and input for form controls in Calc instead of properly rendering Calc documents, Android Viewer was only showing a blank area instead of the actual doc content. (In case of a Calc doc containing form controls, they were visible on top of an otherwise white background.) Using a transparent background by default in Android Viewer as well, just as is done for all other scenarios already, makes this work as expected again (except for another issue introduced with commit 1bc42472200c32c9a0a10dd1c3cd6c6a8a5d47d2 Date: Fri Apr 9 13:59:43 2021 +0200 tdf#95517 android: Rework app/doc lifecycle handling that will be handled in a separate commit). The comment already mentioned that it was unclear why that should not work for Android Viewer and I did not see any apparent problem when testing a bit, so just drop the special handling for Android Viewer here. I moved all of the OutputDevice-related code that existed in vcl::Window into a new subclass of OutputDevice called WindowOutputDevice. Notes for further work (*) not sure why we are getting an 1x1 surface in SvpSalGraphics::releaseCairoContext, but to fix it I clamp the size there (*) might have to dump VCLXDevice, and move it's code down into VCLXWindow and VCLXVirtualDevice (*) can we remove use of VCLXDevice in other places, in favour of just talking to the VCL code? Instead of separate B ("begin") and E ("end") duration events, generate X ("complete") events. Only the event JSON objects are generated, not the surrounding array or object.
