2021-02-08Revert "update Skia to chrome/m89" (tdf#140023)Luboš Luňák
That update started using SkSamplingOptions to specify image scaling quality. Some places using SkImage::makeShader() should use the quality instead of default SkSamplingOptions ctor, but even with that fix the test document still uses the default nearest quality. Since chrome/m90 will introduce further changes related to this, I'll just revert to m88 and revisit this with m90. This reverts commit 2cf9b8e265e9694803f55e30f2f392abfa512a5a. 2020-12-03Replace unowinreg.dll with execution of `reg QUERY`Stephan Bergmann
The SDK's <https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/DevGuide/ProUNO/Java/ Transparent_Use_of_Office_UNO_Components> on all platforms included the Windows- specific unowinreg.dll in generated jars (so that those jars, when distributed to a Windows environment, would find a LO installation by inspecting the Windows registry). That unowinreg.dll was originally built as a 32-bit DLL (though when building a 64-bit Windows LO, it happened to be built as a 64-bit DLL). For non-Windows LO builds, it could either be built locally with a MinGW toolchain (--enable-build-unowinreg) or downloaded from dev-www.libreoffice.org. However, that had various issues: For one, unowinreg.dll was not necessarily available in a distributed jar as a 64-bit DLL for use with a 64-bit JRE on Windows. (Theoretically, running such a jar with a 32-bit JRE to access a 64-bit LO installation's URE jars could have worked. But practically, those URE jars in turn require native DLLs, which would then not have been available as 32-bit DLLs for use in the 32-bit JRE.) For another, at least the unowinreg.dll resulting from --enable-build-unowinreg on Fedora 33 would have had a dependency on libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll that would generally not have been available in a target Windows environment. There appears to be no pure Java way to read the Windows registry, but instead of using a native code DLL for that, it appears to work just as well to call out to reg.exe and parse its output. This removes the --enable-build-unowinreg and --with-mingw-cross-compiler configuration options. (The sole use of the MinGW toolchain in LO was for building unowinreg.dll.) 2020-11-26firebird: update to 3.0.7Julien Nabet
This tries to get rid of a lot of cruft from older builds and it also aims to build as much as possible on Windows. The firebird-cygwin-msvc-warnings.patch should be optional. It gets rid of various compiler warnings on Windows, either by disableing or fixing them: - fix: D9002 - ignoring unknown option '-fno-rtti' - fix: D9024 - unrecognized source file type <filename>, object file assumed - ign: C4291 - <declaration>: no matching operator delete found; memory will not be freed if initialization throws an exception - ign: C4477 - <function>: format string <string> requires an argument of type <type>, but variadic argument number has type <type> And I explicitly got rid of the "win32" handling and simply use arch depending patches on Windows, which strips additional stuff. sberg adds: I have no idea how in an upstream macOS build the empbuild executible in gen/examples should now find @rpath/lib/libfbclient.dylib, as it does not have an RPATH set. So add an appropriate one in external/firebird/firebird-macosx.patch.1's patch of builds/posix/Makefile.in.examples (which needs to know whether we do a Debug or a Release build; an attempt of using firebird's $(IsDeveloper) for that caused other failures, see bca0dc97bf3d1348c928bdaf4964524374835823 "Revert 'external/firebird: Pass --enable-developer into configure'", so use LO's $(ENABLE_DEBUG) and rely on that being exported from LO's make into firebird's make). Also, the fbclient and Engine12 dylibs now have RPATHs set which we do not need in LO (where we still stick to our general use of @loader_path), so drop them in external/firebird/ExternalProject_firebird.mk (even though leaving them in should be harmless). With all the prerequisites in place, LO can be updated to the current Python release. Interestingly I found that Cygwin always seems to use LC_COLLATE=C, probably because the default collation rules are missing. Then there are the changes introduced in "PEP 587 -- Python Initialization Configuration", which appearingly have modified the DLL search path behaviour on Windows, so the OpenSLL DLLs aren't found anymore in the program directory. As a workaround, the OpenSLL and libffi DLLs are now (also) installed into the Python lib dir on Windows. 2020-07-17openssl: update to 1.1.1gJan-Marek Glogowski
The OpenSSL 1.1.1 release is currently the only supported version and it already has the Windows Arm64 support I was looking for. This change also explicitly enables thread support, which Python depends on since release 3.7, which removed the --without-threads build option. But the explicit OPENSSL_THREADS was just added in 3.8.4, so the old no-threads build fails now and was wrong since probably much longer. 2020-05-31NSS: enable parallel buildJan-Marek Glogowski
Since NSS 3.53, the Makefile based build should be fixed (upstream bug 290526). The only missing patch is a minimal NSPR fix for the "NSPR, configure + make, parallel, Windows, MS VS, debug" build. That patch isn't incuded in the NSPR 4.25 release (but it's already in the mercurial repo for NSPR 4.26). 2020-05-31neon: upgrade to release 0.31.1Jan-Marek Glogowski
Drops some of the LO patches upstreamed since 0.31.0. Version 0.31.0 introduced an new session flag for MS SharePoint compatibility, NE_SESSFLAG_SHAREPOINT, which enables a few workarounds, where SharePoint breaks the WebDAV RFCs. In 0.31.1 a compiler warning and the MD5 ABI break introduced in 0.31.0 are fixed, so LO can now update neon.
