2017-02-10Remove MinGW supportStephan Bergmann
In OOo times, there'd originally been efforts to allow building on Windows with MinGW. Later, in LO times, this has been shifted to an attempt of cross- compiling for Windows on Linux. That attempt can be considered abandoned, and the relevant code rotting. Due to this heritage, there are now three kinds of MinGW-specific code in LO: * Code from the original OOo native Windows effort that is no longer relevant for the LO cross-compilation effort, but has never been removed properly. * Code from the original OOo native Windows effort that is re-purposed for the LO cross-compilation effort. * Code that has been added specifially for the LO cross-compilation effort. All three kinds of code are removed. (An unrelated, remaining use of MinGW is for --enable-build-unowinreg, utilizing --with-mingw-cross-compiler, MINGWCXX, and MINGWSTRIP.) ...which (in LIBO_INTERNAL_ONLY) for Clang expands to [[clang::fallthrough]] in preparation of enabling -Wimplicit-fallthrough. (This is only relevant for C++11, as neither C nor old C++ has a way to annotate intended fallthroughs.) Could use BOOST_FALLTHROUGH instead of introducing our own SAL_FALLTHROUGH, but that would require adding back in dependencies on boost_headers to many libraries where we carefully removed any remaining Boost dependencies only recently. (At least make SAL_FALLTHROUGH strictly LIBO_INTERNAL_ONLY, so its future evolution will not have any impact on the stable URE interface.) The only gotcha to watch out for is that unoidl-check cannot be used to check "naked" .urd files, but only ones where the content has been moved to /UCR via regmerge. Leave registry/CustomTarget_regcompare_test.mk around to verify that unoidl-check behaves the same as did regcompare on those old-format .urd/.rdb files.
