The ShutdownIcon class on macOS handles the menubar for when there are
no windows displayed. So copy the entire menubar's tree to a native
menu and use that native menu as the default menubar.
Note: not all menu items may crash without a C++ window so currently
the Tools > Configure menu must force the Start Center window to
reappear before displaying its dialog.

SfxStateCache had problems processing the extra Item
states disabled/invalid. Note that due to not using a
Pool here it is not possible to use an ItemSet or an
ItemHolder, those would automatically handle these
cases correctly.
In this cache, this currently needs to be done
handish. Also note that because of that this may break
again when changes in the Item/ItemSet/ItemHolder
mechanism may be done.

Using an external (Java) script that opens a document, and then quickly
closes it, it may happen that the idle that generates a preview is still
active, when the control thread calls XCloseable::close, which destroys
still used document. This leads to use-after-free.
This uses the close listener in SfxObjectShell, to veto closing document
that is still in use by the preview generation code. After completion,
when the caller of close() transferred ownership, then the call to close
is repeated.

except in ~SfxDispatcher, it was reinitialized to empty i.e. cleared.
This extra indirection is now removed.
SfxHintPoster was using SvRefBase to persist even after SfxDispatcher
was deleted and then deleted itself after SfxHintPoster::Post call was
completed. This extra indirection was adding 4-5 frames while debugging.

There are some CrashReports in 7.6 which have
DeleteItemOnIdle on the stack, but there is nothing
reproducable. So I took a look...
I first thought it's a MCGR regression, due to classes
on the stack. But the Item involved is just random, can
happen with any Item.
Then I thought it may have to do with ITEM refactorings,
but it happens with DeleteItemOnIdle involved, so also
not the case. I already saw DeleteItemOnIdle when doing
these and qualified as 'hack' in the way. already
It is only on Windows and DeleteItemOnIdle is involved.
This again (took a deeper look now) is an old hack to
keep an SfxPoolItem 'alive' for some 'time'. For that,
it triggers an async reschedule which then deletes the
Item when being called. If the Item will be used after
that is pure coincidence - seems to work in most cases.
It seems as if for Windows the timing slightly changed
for some scenarios, so a reschedule is too early. This
can happen with this hack anytime.
DeleteItemOnIdle is used in scenarios where SfxPoolItem*
is e.g. returned, but is *not* anchored, so e.g. not
member of an SfxItemSet. Or in short: Lifetime is not
safe.
DeleteItemOnIdle exists since 1st import, but was
changed to AsyncEvent ca. 4 months ago (see
57145acf9ec47c23e307b7a5c0029d21d937cc35), so that may
have caused it. It is possible that these errors happen
on Windows since then. Before something more complicated
was used to delete it late, but surely also not really
safe.
Due to ITEM refactor I have the knowledge/tooling to
solve this. It will not be a 1-5 lines fix, but it is
a hack and in the way for further ITEM refactor anyways.
What we have nowadays is a SfxPoolItemHolder -> it's
like an SfxItemSet for a single Item. It safely holds/
controls the lifetime of an SfxPoolItem. It is already
used in quite some places. It helps to solve many hacks,
also the ones putting Items directly to the Pool - due
to there never was an alternative for that. In principle
the ItemPool/ItemSet/Item paradigm was never complete
without SfxPoolItemHolder.
Thus I started to fix that (and remove that hack for
good, sooo many changes over the years, sigh), but as
said is not straightforward. Will have to change
retvals of involved stuff to SfxPoolItemHolder - it's
just two pointers and designed to be copied (one is a
Pool, needed to cleanup when destructing).
CopyConstruct/destroy just counts the RefCnt up/down,
so cheap.
1st version compiling, let's check on gerrit...
Corrected one error in QueryState for securitypage, also
added some security features/asserts.

Instead of returning ErrCode class everywhere, return a new
class ErrrCodeMsg, which combines an ErrCode with the other
parameters that are used to control the error reporting.
I do not change everything that uses ErrCode here, I started
from SfxBaseController/SfxMedium and worked outwards.
This change serves two purposes
(1) Replace the extremely whacky ErrorInfo mechanism we were
using to smuggle information into the error handler reporting
mechanism with a very straightforward approach of just combining it
into the error class.
(2) Allow us to capture the source location that produced the error,
which makes debugging the source of a problem soooo much easier.

removed the code for saving image version 11. Modules using image

an image version higher than image version 11 depending on the
size of the module.
In addition, some minor performance issues (construction of the error
message and the correct list of modules) were fixed.

This patch adds the method set_item_help_id for weld::Menu (similarly to what we already have for weld::Toolbar). This way, it is possible to define help IDs for each entry in context menus that are created during runtime.
This is necessary to fix various bug tickets that request F1 to redirect to the corresponding help page when a context menu item has focus. This currently works for context menus created from XML files, but fails for context menus created during runtime.
Besides implementing the new method, this patch fixes bug 147911 (see changes in file templatedlglocalview.cxx) to showcase how set_item_help_id can be used.
NOTE: Pressing F1 in context menus only work with "gen" and "win"... unfortunately it does not work in kf5 and gtk3 due to a separate bug (see bug 156376).

As the last used color is stored per button instance, these
will go out of sync with several buttons being visible (e.g.
a toolbar and a sidebar, or a toolbar overflow popup), and
will reset whenever the toolbar resets (e.g. change in
selection, switch from print preview, or customization).
Fix that by storing the last colors per-document, and
notifying other buttons on changes. Keep the last color also
stored per-button for now, as a fallback for reportdesign
(which isn't sfx2 based).

paragraph style, and character style use in Writer documents
Initial commit to realize direct formatting, paragraph style, and
character style highlighting enhancement requests.
Highlighting of character direct formatting is turned on/off using
.uno:HighlightCharDF. Highlighting of paragraph styles and character
styles is turned on/off using a check box in the Sidebar Styles panel.
Closing the Sidebar also turns paragraph and character style
highlighting off. Paragraph direct formatting is indicated by a hatch
pattern over the paragraph style highlight bar and also by "+ Paragraph
Direct Formatting" appended to the tooltip that appears showing the
name of the paragraph style when the mouse pointer is over the style
highlight bar.
Colors used for styles highlighting are determined by a hash of the
style name. Lightgray is used for character direct formatting.
Known issue:
Tooltip doesn't show for paragraph style highlighting in tables and in
frames where the highlighting bar is drawn outside of the frame.
