2022-07-12use a read-only stream when reading graphic dataLuboš Luňák
EmbeddedObjectRef::GetGraphicStream() creates a writable SvMemoryStream, read the graphics data into it and then returns the stream, which will be afterwards used to decode the graphics. But if the data is broken, incorrect seeking may cause a seek way past the buffer, and since the stream is writable, it would be done and cause problems such as running out of memory. The VersionCompatRead class is one such place that reads size from the stream and then seeks based on the read data. Add SvMemoryStream::MakeReadOnly() that will change the stream to be read-only after the initial read of the data into it. 2022-06-15Add unit tests for ZCodecofftkp
Add unit tests that check compressing->decompressing a file should result in the same file. This is done by comparing the CRC32 before and after. The same tests also implicitly test that compression/decompression works by checking the return value of ZCodec::EndCompression. Cases added for both mbGzLib=true/false. 2020-09-22Fix AVX2 cpuid checksDr. David Alan Gilbert
At the moment test_cpu_runtime_detection_AVX2.cxx is compiled with -mavx2 to allow it to use the intrinsics; however the compiler jumps at the chance to use newer instructions outside the actual test; in my case using AVX in the string manipulation in addTestsToSuite when my CPU doesn't actually have AVX. Swing the actual check into a separate file and only compile that with the extra flag. We probably need the same change for the SSE* checks as well. 2019-11-11Don't compile cpuid test with INTRINSICS_CXXFLAGSTomaž Vajngerl
This will compile test with maximal supported instruction set supported by the compiler, but the CPU might not support the instructions sets. As this tests some aspects of runtime CPU detection only we actually don't need to compile it with the INTRINSICS_CXXFLAGS flags. 2019-10-04always use gb_LinkTarget__get_cxxflags for cxxobjectsLuboš Luňák
E.g. gb_LinkTarget_add_exception_object adds it explicitly, but gb_LinkTarget_add_cxxobject itself does not, even though other variants (c,objc, objcxx) do it. This means that when compiling tools/qa/cppunit/test_cpuid.cxx it doesn't get the correct -O/-g flags, because CppunitTest_tools_test.mk uses gb_CppunitTest_add_cxxobjects to add $(INTRINSICS_CXXFLAGS). And that in its own actually should use the add_exception_objects variant, it didn't presumably because that one used to have cxxflags passing broken until I fixed it in 4bbdab901eb3c7d32d28910fb830f4b0422eee91. The usage in Library_cpp_uno.mk even explicitly works around the lack of debug symbols. 2019-04-21rework Color to have R,G,B,A public variablesTomaž Vajngerl
Color is a wrapper around a sal_uInt32 variable. With a union, separate channels R, G, B, A sal_uInt8 variables can be added that occupy the same memory. This makes it much easier to access each color component separately, which is used quite a lot by various algorithms. This also adds the variables to public so everyone can enjoy the benefits. Tests have been extended to make sure this doesn't break the existing algroithms.
