The exception here is when we construct it from property values, where the unknown property values are then stored into the extended information sequence and then later reconstructed when we convert it back to a sequence of property values. Just for that case we don't neeed to expose the extended information to the outside and create it, as that is then a implementation detail for the UNO use case. I am also not convinced we need it when creating ViewInformation2D with the sequence of property values - it certantly not expected that we need to preserve the property values at all, but that is something that needs to be checked. I don't see the point in messing with the 32-bit platforms, they are (a) become more and more rare (b) unlikely to even have enough available process memory to load extremely large calc spreadsheets The primary problem we are addressing here is bringing Windows-64bit up to same capability as Linux-64bit when it comes to handling very large spreadsheets, which is caused by things like tools::Rectangle using "long", which means that all the work done to make Libreoffice on 64-bit Linux capable of loading large spreadsheets is useless on Windows, where long is 32-bit. The operator<< for tools::Rectangle needs to be inside the tools namespace because of an interaction with the cppunit printing template stuff that I don't understand. SalPoint changed to use sal_Int32, since it needs to be the same definition as the Windows POINT structure. The amount of additional hits (on Linux) apparently asked for turning loplugin:simplifypointertobool into a rewriting plugin. Which in turn showed that the naive adivce to just "drop the get()" is not sufficient in places that are not contextually converted to bool, as those places need to be wrapped in a bool(...) functional cast now. If the expression was already wrapped in parentheses, those could be reused as part of the functional cast, but implementing that showed that such cases are not yet found at all by the existing loplugin:simplifypointertobool. Lets leave that TODO for another commit. Besides the changes to compilerplugins/ itself, this change has been generated fully automatically with the rewriting plugin on Linux. However, it failed miserably on Windows, causing odd failures like not writing out Pictures/*.svm streams out into .odp during CppunitTest_sd_export_ooxml2.
