<paragraph role="paragraph" id="par_idN10592" xml-lang="en-US" l10n="NEW">Common terms are words that have the same meaning in traditional and simplified Chinese but that are written with different characters.</paragraph>
<paragraph role="heading" id="par_idN10595" xml-lang="en-US" level="3" l10n="NEW">Translate Common Terms</paragraph>
<paragraph role="paragraph" id="par_idN10599" xml-lang="en-US" l10n="NEW">Select to first translate words with two or more characters from the list of common terms, and only after that translate the remaining text character by character.</paragraph>
<paragraph role="heading" id="par_idN1059C" xml-lang="en-US" level="3" l10n="NEW">Edit terms</paragraph>
<paragraph role="paragraph" id="par_idN105A0" xml-lang="en-US" l10n="NEW">Opens the <link href="text/shared/01/06010601.xhp">Edit Dictionary</link> dialog, where you can edit the list of translation terms.</paragraph>
